Patrol Treasurer & Scribe
In every patrol, and every troop, there's paperwork to be done and money to be handled. Those jobs fall to the administrative positions in the patrol. They are the record keepers, the note takers, and the guys who know they really run the show.
The Patrol Treasurer
The Treasurer is in charge of keeping tract of the patrol's money. He's responsible for collecting dues (if your troop collects dues), food money for campouts, and any other funds that might be handled by your patrol. In most troops, much of the work will be done by the Troop Treasurer, if so, the Patrol Treasurer works with him or her when patrol funds are involved. He also keeps tract of the patrol budget, and makes sure everyone does their best on troop fundraisers.
The Patrol Scribe
The Scribe has an important job as well. To him falls the responsibility of keeping the patrol's records, keeping notes about patrol decisions and plans, and making sure all your adventures are kept in the Patrol Log. He's the Scout you turn to when you need to know who needs what for First Class. He's the Scout you turn to when you can't remember if it was backpacking in April and canoeing in May, or the other way around. He's the Scout you count on to keep a record of everything you do so you can prove yours is the best patrol.
