Patrol Hikemaster & Cheermaster
Patrol spirit is important, and the best way to keep patrol spirit up, is to keep the patrol's spirits up. That task falls to these two Scouts. They keep the patrol happy and working together.
The Patrol Hikemaster
The Hikemaster has an important job, and it isn't just about leading the patrol on hikes. His job is to keep the patrol moving, and moving in the right direction. On the trail, he makes sure everyone gets where they're going, and keeps them from getting lost. Off the trail, maybe he carries the patrol flag, or is in charge of finding places for the patrol to go. Remember, he keeps the patrol moving whether they're hiking, or working on requirements.
The Patrol Cheermaster
So, you have a patrol cheer? Well who better to lead it every chance he gets than the Cheermaster. But he's much more than just a cheer leader. He's in charge of keeping the patrol happy and, well, cheerful. He comes in handy when it starts to rain during lunch. He comes in equally handy organizing patrol skits for campfires, leading songs, and just generally being cheerful and upbeat. If you've got a real clown in your patrol, this is the job for him!
